Most people arrive at PRISM knowing that something needs to shift. But often they don’t yet know what that something is.
We’ve spent decades working across philanthropy, civil society and systems change. We can help you name what’s getting in the way, and identify the throughline that will carry your next chapter.
PRISM can work deeply with your organisation or network through a Springboard, Throughline or Spectrum engagement.
Springboard
For organisations that know something needs to shift
PRISM’s project-based engagement. We come in, do the work with you, and deliver something complete. The scope is defined upfront, the price is fixed, and the output is real.
A practice that has outgrown its theory of change. A strategy that isn’t aligned with your role in the ecosystem. A member network that needs an honest conversation before the next chapter can begin. A monitoring and evaluation framework that doesn’t yet exist, or one that needs to be rebuilt.
Who it’s for: Organisations with a specific piece of work.
The investment for a Springboard is AUD $30k.
Throughline
For organisations ready to do the sustained work of transformation
PRISM’s flagship partnership. This is a 1–2 year engagement built on a conviction: lasting change comes from within and that the conditions for that change need to be created deliberately and held over time.
Throughline is a learning partnership that builds your organisations capacity to think differently, act on what it knows, and keep doing so long after the engagement ends.
We work alongside your leadership over time: holding space, naming what’s hard to name, and building the conditions for the organisation to lead its own next chapter.
Who it’s for: organisations at a genuine turning point, where the existing model is no longer sufficient for what’s needed.
Spectrum
For leaders working across a shared system, challenge, or field who need to act together — not just alongside each other.
PRISM’s collective leadership program. Where Throughline works with a single organisation, Spectrum works with many — building the shared language, practice, and trust that makes collective action possible.
Who it’s for: cohorts of leaders who share a system or sector, and have challenges or opportunities that no single organisation can carry alone.
Ready to learn deeply in community?
PRISM offers Illuminate, The Gathering and Ember engagements.
Illuminate
For senior leaders whose questions have outrun the available thinking.
PRISM’s Action Learning Set program. Small groups of six to eight people, drawn from across the for-purpose sector, meeting regularly over a sustained period to think together about the hardest questions in their work.
The for-purpose sector needs leaders who can think collectively, lead with distributed authority, and work across organisational boundaries. Illuminate builds that capacity — not through training, but through the experience of actually doing it together.
Who it’s for: senior leaders, funders, and practitioners who don’t need more information. They need better thinking, and a room where the level of conversation matches the level of the work.
PRISM (The Gathering)
Where the work becomes a movement.
PRISM’s events that bring the ideas, practice, and people of the for-purpose sector into the same room.
PRISM gatherings work in breadth: introducing the thinking, building community, and extending the practice to a wider field.
Who it’s for: leaders and practitioners across the for-purpose sector who want to encounter the ideas, connect with community, and take something concrete back into their work.
Ember
The ongoing relationship that keeps the thread alive.
An ember is what remains after the fire; still warm, still alive, still capable of reigniting something.
Ember is PRISM’s retainer relationship: a light-touch ongoing presence for organisations and leaders who have been through a PRISM engagement and want to maintain the thinking, the access, and the space to work through what comes next as it emerges.
Who it’s for: alumni of PRISM engagements.
